Auditions for “Urinetown: The Musical”

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, July 18th and Wednesday, July 19th at 7 p.m. All roles are open to anyone ages 16 and over. Director Kevin Costley asks those who audition to prepare a song of his/her choice. Those interested in a speaking role will be asked to read from the script. An accompanist will be provided. Performance dates are: August 18-20, 24-27, 31, September 1 & 2, 2006.
Winner of three Tony Awards including Best Book, three Outer Critic’s Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards, and two Obie Awards, “Urinetown” is a tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution set in a town plagued by a 20-year drought, where citizens must pay taxes to take care of their most private and basic needs..
