The Nuremberg Community Players will present the fantasy comedy “When Fairy Tales Collide” at The Factory on School and Apple Streets in Nuremberg. Show dates are August 4 & 5 at 7:30 (dinner at 6:00) and on August 6 at 4:00 (dinner at 2:30). Tickets are $22 for dinner and show and $10 for show only. Reservations are required for dinner. Show reservations will also be taken or tickets can be purchased at the door.

The show was written by Nuremberg’s own - Zack Whalen - who won the Player’s first annual script writing contest. The directors, Jay Serafin and Jim Clyde, along with the cast worked to hone the script and have made it a funny and highly entertaining show. “When Fairy Tales Collide” follows Cinderella as she moves in a parallel universe meeting other fairy tale characters on the way such as Rapunzel, the Big Bad Wolf, The Fairy Godfather, Little Red Riding Hood, the Wicked Stepmother and others. There are also musical numbers overseen by D J Swank as coordinator and Barb Bartusik and Kathy Rhoads have worked their magic on costumes. “When Fairy Tales Collide” has plenty of adult humor while also being a wonderful evening for the kids.

For reservations call 570-454-0928. The Factory is an air-conditioned facility and refreshments will be available at intermission. For more information, visit the Nuremberg Community Players website at http:/nurembergplayers.org.
