Applause Theatre Returns

Applause Theatre is pleased to announce their grand return to the theatrical community. One of their first endeavors will be a children’s production of “Pocahontas”

Auditions will be held Saturday, July 22 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the theatre. All roles are available. The director is looking for children from 5 to teens and there will be some dancing involved. Rehearsals will start the first week of August.

The production will be directed and choreographed by Lee Lachette. Lee has been featured in many local theatre productions as well as in a touring production of “A Chorus Line”.

Performance dates for “Pocahontas” are October 6th, 7th & 8th and continue October 13th, 14th & 15th. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays are at 3:00 p.m.

Play submissions are now being taken for Applause’s 2006-2007 season. Submissions may be mailed to P.O. Box 5055, Avoca, PA 18641 or you may leave a message at the phone number listed below. They also may be
dropped off directly at the theatre.
