Take a walk down memory lane with Lucy & Ricky and Fred & Ethel when EOTC and The Lakeside Players present the audience participation murder mystery Trouble at the Tropicabana. The curtain rises on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at EOTC’s Seventh Avenue Center, 431 North Seventh Avenue, Scranton, PA.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., when you can enjoy some wine or soda and take some chances on winning gift certificates donated by area businesses and supporters. Then at 5:30 it’s time to enjoy a buffet dinner catered by Mother’s Table of Scranton, PA. After dinner, sit back, relax and let The Lakeside Players take you away to Lucy & Ricky’s living room and Ricky’s Club. You’ll hear Ricky sing some Latin favorites, enjoy the dancing Cabana girls, and maybe even join in a conga line. But, you’ll have to pay attention, because someone is going to commit a murder at the end of the show, and it’s up to you to solve the crime! Prizes will be awarded to the first people to correctly guess both the murderer and the motive.

The Lakeside Players are a community theater company from the Lake Wallenpaupack region. During the last 4 years, they have performed dozens of original murder mysteries at area restaurants and country clubs as well as 15 mainstage productions in various theaters, including their present home, Lakeville Community Hall, Lakeville, PA. The players have graciously donated their time and talent to EOTC’s Building Our Future campaign by presenting this play for us.

We hope you can come to this fun event and help support EOTC’s Seventh Avenue Center green renovation project.
