Dan Simrell Advertising Announces Open Casting Call

Dan Simrell Advertising is pleased to announce an open casting call for local talent of all ages, gender, and race. Interested actors, voice talent and models are invited to attend this casting call which will be used to build a pool of talent for upcoming and ongoing TV, radio and print advertising assignments - these are paid assignments.

Dan Simrell Advertising is focusing on local talent for two reasons: first, they are locally owned and operated, and second, they often need people at short notice and using talent from outside the area makes it difficult to source talent on short notice.

Anyone interested in coming to the event should bring a resume and a small headshot - a headshot in the upper corner of the resume is acceptable. Anyone applying for television opportunties will have four photos taken (full, head, both profiles) and six photos will taken of anyone applying for modeling assignments (full, head, both profiles, full bikini/exercise and bikini/exercise profile). All applicants will participate in a 3 minute video interview. For those applying for acting/voice talent, five sentences will be supplied which the actor will be asked to read in several different ways. Voice talent will also read a 30 second commercial. Prepared dialogues are not required.

From North of Scranton: Take I-81 South to the Central Scranton Expressway (After the I-380/84 exit). Follow the signs for JEFFERSON AVE. Take Jefferson through 4 traffic lights. We are the 5th building on the right side (Across from a parking lot).

PARKING NOTE: Please park on the street, or go one block down and park at the Mercy Hospital Parking Lot. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT ACROSS FROM THE BUILDING
