The Music Box will present “Close Encounters of the Murdered Kind” this Weekend
The audience participation murder mystery, Close Encounters of the Murdered Kind, will be presented this weekend, October 20th and 21st at 6pm, and October 22nd at 1 pm at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes Street in Swoyersville.
Written and directed by Billy Joe Herbert, the evening is chock full of murders and mysteries and the audience is invited to “interrogate” a host of suspects and solve the crime(s). Prizes are awarded at the end of each performance to audience members who prove to be the best detectives. The cast of Close Encounters of the Murdered Kind includes Billy Joe Herbert, Jarrett Anistranski, Tom Aycock, Molly Chamberlain, Patti James, Sarah James, Mark Kahn, Christine Mackin, Holly Martin, Kaitlin Peterman, Barbara Pitcavage, Jennifer Stephens, George Thomas and Holly Young.
Eerie “special effects” are on hand to make the evening a fun “Halloween” event.
A buffet dinner is part of the $27.00 admission price and includes a variety of delicious entrees, pasta, vegetables, desserts and much, much more. Catering is by “A Touch of Class at the Palace.”
