  • A Spectacular Afternoon of Music with The Northeast Theatre

posted by Alan Waclawski on December 16th, 2006 in Uncategorized Share This

On the afternoon of December 9, The Northeast Theatre presented the first in what it hopes will be a series of musical salons, Victorian Holiday with singer Jessica Medoff and pianist Michael Bunchman. This spectacularly talented couple presented a program to about 40 people that ranged from Chopin’s Fantasie in F minor to songs by Cole Porter and George Gershwin. Pastries were freshly prepared by TNT actress Heather Stuart (who is also a professional baker) which were served with holiday punches made by Pat Dunleavy. Carmon Flynn played the part of the butler. Those in attendance included Ralph & Joyce Lomma, Paula Wasser, Jean Shields, Mary Clements, Sally & Daniel Grotta, and others. Information about future events at The Northeast Theatre can be found at its website: www.thenortheasttheatre.us.
