In January of 2003 hundreds of local theatergoers flocked to Showcase Theatre in Exeter to see the area’s very first live presentation of The Rocky Horror Show, the original stage musical on which the popular Midnight Movie was based. The show was an unqualified success and people have been clamoring to Do the Time Warp Again! The good news is, you now have your chance!!
The Bracken Theatre Company will be reviving the production in the original space at Showcase Theatre with original director Paul Winarski once again at the helm. On top of that, many of the original cast will be reprising their roles. Back once again are Dave Baloga and Dawn Winarski as the star-crossed lovers Brad and Janet. Also returning is Kevin Costley as the sweet transvestite Dr. Frank N. Furter and Heidi Schnapauff, this time as his henchwoman Columbia. Rounding out the original cast are local comic favorites Jack Gibbons as the Narrator, Greg Korin as Dr. Scott and Transylvanian Adam Orseck. The original stage band will even be returning with Dave Baloga as musical director! Newcomers to Castle Frankenstein are George Thomas as Riff Raff, Cate McDonald as Magenta and Dane Bower as Eddie. Lee Lachette will be choreographing the chorus of Transylvanians.
