Misfit Players Proudly Present “Young Stars on Broadway - A Musical Review”

The Misfit Players, a nonprofit theater group will present Young Stars on Broadway - A Musical Review at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse on Hughes Street in Swoyersville. The Misfit Players have been performing charity theater productions since 2000. Young Stars on Broadway is being performed with proceeds being donated to help the James M. Coughlin High School Drama Club of Wilkes-Barre.Â
The musical review will consist of two and one half hours of show stopping favorite songs from hit Broadway shows such as Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Bye Bye Birdie, Gypsy, Oliver, and The Sound of Music, just to name a few. Young aspiring stars from grade schools, high schools, and colleges around the area and out of town, round out the full cast of thirty-six. An entertaining evening is guaranteed for all ages.
The show is being directed by Alice Y. Lyons, with Lou Lyons serving as the assistant director, and Hollie Major rounding out the production crew as the rehearsal pianist. Show dates are January 12th and 13th at 8pm, and January 14th at 3pm. Tickets are general admission and are only available the day of the show.
