Actors Circle Presents “Lovers and Other Strangers”
It’s an evening of five bright short plays about the battle of the sexes.
It’s humor and penetrating honesty and insight into that always curious relationship between men and women.
If you don’t see yourself in at least one of these pieces you’ve never been engaged or married or divorced; you’ve never found your affections straying; you haven’t lived with a woman (or man) through turbulent times when America was babbling about a redefinition of gender roles; you’ve never been pressed by your parents to live your life as they did.Â
Actors Circle is proud to present Lovers and Other Strangers written by Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna, under the direction of John Shugard. The ensemble case features Alex DeVirgilis, Carla Reck, Andrea Cortese, J. D, Miller, Cathy Rist Strauch, Jeff Ginsberg, Angelina Glodzik, David Hunisch, Betsy Seaforth, Mike Lally, Joe Palumbo, and Linda C. Griffiths.
