PA Theatre of Performing Arts Production of “Spitfire Grill” Opens February 9th

Come serve up a slice of theatre as The PA Theatre of Performing Arts kicks off their 2007 10th Anniversary Season with the home-style folk musical The Spitfire Grill directed by Mike Marone and Lynne Zanolini. Musical Direction is provided by Brenda Neighbert and technical direction is helmed by Drew Coffman. The Spitfire Grill tells the story of an ex-convict, Percy, who wishes to start her life again in a new town. See where the amazing journey takes her in this heartwarming tale of forgiveness, love, and healing. Starring in the production are Greater Hazleton Area favorites Katy Childs, Lee Alucci, Yamilet Montas, Lynne Zanolini, Melodie Long, Michael Marone and Matt Broadhead.

The Spitfire Grill will be on stage at the J.J Ferrara Center at 212 W. Broad Street in Hazleton. Performance dates are February 9, 10, 16, 17 @ 7:00pm and February 11 & 18 @ 3:00pm. An all-you-can-eat buffet will be available starting at 5:30 on the Friday and Saturday performances. Ticket prices for adults are $25 for dinner and show and $14 for show only. Tickets for children are $15 for dinner and show and $7 for show only. Discounts are available for students and parties of 10 or more.
