Multi-platinum recording artists, Little River Band, will appear at the Sherman Theater in downtown Stroudsburg on March 30, along with opening talent of local musicians The Mark Williams Band.
Known for hit singles such as Lady and Reminiscing, Little River band’s total record sales have eclipsed the 25 million mark. The group has had 16 hit singles and in 1982 LRB became the only act to have a top ten US hit for six consecutive years.
The Sherman Theater offers an unusual opportunity to see the Little River Band, who normally performs in larger capacity arenas, in an intimately sized venue.
“As the Sherman Theater enters its third year we’re continually working to bring high quality shows from all different genres of music to Stroudsburg,” said Sherman Executive Director Richard Berkowitz. “The Little River Band is another example of a major act choosing to perform in the Sherman’s smaller, acoustically superb, auditorium.”
In 2006, Evanescence sought out the Sherman as a rehearsal space for their world tour, while other performers such as Bob Weir, Bo Bice, Bowfire and David Bromberg have all expressed excited interest in returning to do exclusive events and specialty dates at the Sherman.
Tickets for the Little River Band are currently on sale at shermantheater.com or by calling the theater box office at 570.420.2808
