Pocono Choral Society Proudly Presents “The Soul of Broadway”
“Come on along and listen to the lullaby of Broadway, the hip hooray and ballyhoo” as the Pocono Choral Society presents the “Soul Of Broadway” at the Sherman Theater on Sunday, March 25th at 3:00 pm. From “My Fair Lady” to “Chicago” and Sondheim to Webber, you’ll hear a most entertaining mix of highlights from several of the musical theater’s most beloved shows. A Broadway veteran in his own right, Jerrold Fisher will take center stage to conduct the chorus along with a select trio of piano, bass and drums providing a delightful musical back drop for this thrilling performance. And look for a surprise guest to join pianist, Tomoko Kawamukai for a special duet arrangement from the classic Broadway favorite, “Carouselâ€. Come join the Pocono Choral Society for an afternoon of Broadway’s finest sung by the Poconos’ finest!
