EMTC Takes Theatre to the “Peanuts” Gallery!
The Endless Mountains Theatre Company is launching its 2007 season, and the word is . . . Snoopy!!! Yes, we’re talking about the one and only many-faceted beagle, along with his unforgettable colleagues from the landmark Peanuts comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz.
Snoopy!!! is a fun-filled, heartwarming musical, a sequel to the legendary show You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. As in that show, our much-beloved Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and the gang take the stage to amuse us, delight us, and even give us some insights into life.
This whimsical, vignette-style show is sure to connect with everyone who has ever smiled at Snoopy, Woodstock, and the whole, wide world of Peanuts. It’s all in there–from Lucy’s psychiatrist booth to Linus’ blanket to the Great Pumpkin and the Easter Beagle. And who could resist songs like “The World According to Snoopy”!
Snoopy!!! features a script by Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, Warren Lockhart, Arthur Whitelaw and Michael L. Grace; music by Larry Grossman; and lyrics by Hal Hackady. EMTC’s production is directed by Dianna Wayman. Performances will be April 20 and 21, 2007 at 7:00 pm and April 22, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Parish Hall at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Montrose, PA. Ticket prices are $7 for Seniors/Students/Members (with Membership Card) and $9 General Admission.
