Sherman Theatre to Host World-Renowned Circus Event

The Russian American Kids Circus, produced by the veterans of the world famous Moscow Circus, is coming to downtown Stroudsburg to perform at the Sherman Theater on April 21. As part of the theater’s family programming, tickets for this event are only $13.50 for kids.
Now in its 11th year of touring the Russian American Kids Circus transforms professional performances into a circus spectacular on theatrical stages worldwide. Artists fill the stage with a blur of spangles, dazzling audiences with their synchronized acrobatics, black lights, unicycling, expert juggling, daring aerial feats, and balancing acts.
Lesson plans and study materials are available at the theater for teachers, families and organizations interested in using this cultural performance experience as an educational tool.
The Sherman will host performances of the circus at both 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at shermantheater.com or by calling the theater box office at 570.420.2808.
Built in the 1920s, the renovated Sherman Theater is now equipped to present many of today’s biggest shows, while also serving as a resource for the entire community.
