The Best Little Show in Kingsley!

You don’t need to be a Texan to love the legendary Broadway musical
called The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. In fact, you don’t need to
ever have set foot in Texas . . . or in the type of establishment named
in the play’s title.
You just have to love great musical theater!
What’s it all about?
It’s about a small businesswoman’s struggle for survival in the face of
a crusade by politicians and the media. It’s about loyalty and
hypocrisy. It’s about a story and songs (such as Girl, You’re a Woman)
that packed ‘em in on Broadway.
So come down to Mountain View High School to see and hear Endless
Mountains Theatre Company put this big ol’ Texas show across with their
tall order of Pennsylvania talent. And the best part is, it’s legal!
EMTC’s production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (directed by
Tim Hutchins) will be performed June 22-23 at 7pm & June 24 at 3pm, at
Mountain View High School (Kingsley, PA). $7 Seniors/Students/Members
(with Membership Card), $9 Gen. Adm. Show content is comparable to a
“PG” movie. Book by Larry L. King & Peter Masterson. Music and Lyrics
by Carol Hall. Originally produced on the New York Stage by Stevie
Phillips in Association with Universal Pictures. Originally produced by
Actors Studio.
