The Lakeside Players, an award-winning community theater company in the Lake Wallenpaupack area, is seeking a 13 or 14-year-old boy to play the role of Billy in the critically acclaimed comedy On Golden Pond, by Ernest Thompson.

The role may also be played by a slightly older teen who looks younger. This is an excellent, medium-sized role for a young person with acting experience. There are four other cast members – all adults – in this play.

On Golden Pond will be performed for two weekends in October (exact dates to be announced) at Lakeville Community Hall, Route 590, Lakeville. Afterwards, the show will travel to Union Dale Hall for a third weekend. Rehearsals are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday for five or six weeks before the show. For more information, call 570-226-6207.
