KISS Theatre Company to Offer Dance Classes

KISS Theatre Company, a non-profit performing arts organization which, for the last year, has been giving children in the area the opportunity to shine through theatre, is now opening the dance door a little bit more than before. KISS Theatre is proud to announce that dance classes will be offered at the Dimensions in Dance Studio under the direction of Lee Lachette.

Lee has been dancing since age 3 and studied at a local studio in Hazleton learning all phases of dance, until her teen years. She then studied at the Philadelphia Dance Center under Michael Mullins and in New York with Charles Kelly for many years. Lee toured with a National Touring Group of A Chorus Line for a year then returned to run her own dance studio. Later she gave up the studio to perform at many dinner theatres locally and in Florida with countless shows under her belt. Finally, Lee settled down and is currently the Operating Director of Dimensions In Dance under KISS Theatre Company. Lee also serves as Managing Director and Choreographer for KISS.

The Dimensions in Dance studio is located at Rear 409 Main St. in Duryea, Pa. Those interested in registering may do so by calling 570-991-1817. All classes are $10.00 each and will begin September 17, 2007. The following classes have been scheduled:

Adult Classes

• JAZZERCIZE: Monday - 6:00 – 7:00 PM
• BALLET BOOT CAMP: Monday - 7:00 – 8:00 PM
• JAZZERCIZE: Thursday - 6:00 – 7:00 PM
• TAP: Thursday - 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Kid’s Classes

• TAP: Wednesday - 5:30 – 6:30 PM
• BALLET/HIP HOP: Wednesday - 6:30 – 7:30 PM (Ages 5-10)
• HIP HOP/JAZZ: Wednesday - 7:30 – 8:30 PM (Teens)
• FOSSE JAZZ: Thursday - 8:00 – 9:00 PM
