posted by Alan Waclawski on November 27th, 2007 in Announcements Share This

miser1-chs“The Christmas Miser” tells the story of an actor/producer who is not only staring as Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol,” but embodies many of Scrooge’s traits in his actual life. As he is visited by three people from his past he comes to the realization that he is all too similar to the part he plays, and decides a change is for the best.

magi1-chs“The Gift of the Magi” is based on the famous O. Henry Short story which tells the tale of a young husband and wife who give up what they love most to find the perfect Christmas gifts for each other.

The one acts will be staged Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st at 7pm in the Coughlin High School auditorium on North Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. They are directed by Alice Y. Lyons.

Tickets are $7.00 for adults and seniors, and $5.00 for Students and Children. All seats are general admission and may be purchased at the door.
