Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre to Present SLEEPING BEAUTY AND THE Z’S

Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre is pleased to announce it upcoming performance of SLEEPING BEAUTY AND THE Z’S by Bill Van Horn. Performance dates are Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 3:00 PM. All seating is general admission with tickets priced at $10.00.
This children’s production was adapted from the classic fairy tale and tells the story of Princess Tara who falls prey to the curse of the wicked fairy Xenia at her 16th birthday party. Despite the efforts of a group of good fairies, the Z’s, she pricks her finger and falls asleep for one hundred years until she is awakened by a kiss. Along the way we also meet an ogre, trolls, a two headed spider, as well as kings, queens, princes, and of course, the fairies.
Under the direction of Lisa Yvonne Fink, the cast consisting of Kiri Kozial, Kevin DeSouza, Rebecca Wychock, Maureen Suydan, Llyam McGlynn, Alexandra Ayers, Patrick Rosengrant, Jake Baker, Abigail Savage, Cora Savage, Katie Roarty, Kendra Phoenix, Stephanie Metzger, Kayla Kozial, Jennifer Fagotti, Ziomara Rolon, Margaret Roarty and Wayne McCormick will portray a variety of royalty, fairies and townspeople.
