Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming production of Annie. Director Cathy Alaimo will audition girls ages 6-16 Sunday, 1/20/2008 at Little Theatre from 1PM-4PM. All adults may audition Sunday, 1/20/2008 from 6PM-9PM. Anyone not available on Sunday 1/20 may audition on Tuesday, 1/22/2008 from 6PM-9PM. Please come prepared with sheet music and a song of your choice to sing. An accompanist will be provided. Anyone interested in a speaking role will be asked to read from the script.

“Annie” is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
