Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre Invites Community to Help CELEBRATE! it’s 85th Anniversary

Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre is proudly celebrating our 85th Anniversary Season with an evening of entertainment. Celebrate! is a musical tribute paying homage to the theatre, its past 85 years, and the next 85. Director Joe Sheridan has designed a celebration of the people of the theatre both on stage and behind the scenes highlighting the themes of love, angst, comedy, tragedy and the human condition as portrayed through musical theatre, both classical and contemporary.

Whether actor, director, dancer, singer, technician or audience member, we all relish and crave that magical yet nerve racking experience that is live theatre. Come, join in the celebration!

The celebration will begin with a reception in the lobby at 6:30 PM followed by the performance at 8:00 PM.

In conjunction with our Gala event, Little Theatre is raffling a nine-day cruise vacation for two aboard the Caribbean Princess sailing from New York to San Juan, St. Thomas and Bermuda from May 17th through the 26th, 2008. The prize includes cruise fare for two, pre-paid gratuities and round trip transportation to the Port of New York (winner responsible for tax and fees). Drawing for the raffle will be held at our Gala Celebrate! on February 23, 2008. Chances can be purchased for only $10.00 and only 500 tickets are being sold!
