Worthington Players Announce Auditions for PRELUDE TO A KISS

Worthington Players will hold open auditions for PRELUDE TO A KISS on Saturday Jan 26 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Shawnee Playhouse. Needed are 8 men and 5 women of various ages. Tech and backstage help are also needed. This is an all-volunteer production. If you auditioned in December for this play, please note that we now have a new director. He would like to see all interested talent. Sides will be available on Saturday for review.

The Story:
A supernatural event tests a young couple’s love and commitment to each other. An elderly man in poor health happens upon a wedding and asks to kiss the bride. As he does, her soul and his magically exchange bodies.

Mid-honeymoon, the groom realizes he has married another person, and must find the old man to retrieve the true spirit of the woman he loves.
Craig Lucas’ romantic comedy is a roller-coaster ride through love in all its giddy, surprising, and conflicted glory. Directed by Jon Baptiste.

Rehearsals begin Feb 4. Rehearsal schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Weekend rehearsals will be added beginning Feb 23. Headshots and resumes are appreciated but not required.
