The Stepcrew to Perform at Sherman Theater in Support of Capital Campaign

StepcrewThe newest international dance sensation, The Stepcrew will light up the stage at the Sherman Theater Thursday, April 3, 2008. This Celtic dance troupe is yet another act coming out to support the Sherman Theater’s Capital Campaign during its transition to a Non-Profit Regional Performing Arts Center.

Part Bowfire, part Lord of the Dance, part Chieftans – The Stepcrew takes traditional Celtic dance and fiddling to new heights! The show features 7 outstanding dancers, vocalists and some of the leading musicians on the scene today. The audience will experience traditional dance, modern interpretations and electrifying new compositions written exclusively for this debut tour.

The Stepcrew features and was founded by Jon Pilatzke (Chieftains/Bowfire), Stephanie Cadman (Bowfire), Cara Butler (The Chieftains), Nathan Pilatzke (The Chieftains) and Dan Stacey (Seven Nations). The 12 member troupe also includes a live five-piece band, as well as choreographer/dancers Sarah Uddin and Ryan McCaffrey, of Riverdance.
