MICHAEL KLEITMAN will present “A TRIBUTE TO LUCIANO PAVAROTTI” live at the historic Sherman Theater in downtown Stroudsburg July 5, 2008. Bringing together over a thousand fans of Pavarotti and Michael Kleitman for a night of inspiring and uplifting classical music, the evening will honor the great tenor, Luciano Pavarotti, who passed away in 2007 from pancreatic cancer.

This amazingly successful European tour is coming to the United States for the first time after sold-out shows in European opera houses, theaters, historic castles, exclusive balls and galas.

The event will feature Oscar of San Remo award winner, Maestro Michael Kleitman - one of the most recognized voices throughout the world. He has performed alongside Three Tenors legend Jose Carreras and pop stars, Elton John and Liza Minnelli.

Maestro Kleitman has made more than thirty television appearances in the last decade alone, including: the opening celebrations for the 2004 Athens Olympics, Jose Carreras Gala for Leukemia Research, World Ski Jump Championship and featured performance on dozens of prime time television programs throughout Europe.

The evening of songs and personal stories will pay tribute to Luciano Pavarotti - Kleitman’s musical inspiration. Maestro Kleitman dedicated his hit cover, “Caruso” to the late, great tenor. The performance will include a repertoire similar to the Three Tenors with special guest duets.

The idea for this concert series was born in 2006 when Maestro Kleitman learned that Pavarotti was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While Pavarotti fought for his life with honor and dignity, Maestro Kleitman began to tour Europe in his honor. Each concert has been sold-out and earned critical acclaim. This tour will continue through 2009.
