  • Workshop Registration Announced at KISS Theatre Company

    KISS Theatre Co. is a nonprofit performing arts organization with the mission of educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young people through the art of theatre and dance.

    KISS Theatre is happy to announce registrations for their next two summer workshops. The first workshop will begin on May 28 at the CYC in Wilkes-Barre ending in productions of Seussical, Jr. and Pirates of Penzance, Jr. at Little Theater on July 18, 19 & 20. The second workshop will begin on June 15 at the Phoenix Performing Arts Center in Duryea ending in two productions tentatively schedule to be Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr. and Music Man, Jr. on August 8, 9 & 10. The workshops are open to all youth from ages 7-17. KISS will expose students to all aspects of theatre, including acting, movement, voice work, set design, and costuming.

    This past year, KISS Theatre Company has successfully mounted such productions as “High School Musical”, “Into the Woods Jr.”, “Big Bad”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream – The Musical”, “Grease”, “Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.”, Godspell, Jr., Guys & Dolls, Jr., Alice in Wonderland, Jr. and Willy Wonka, Jr. in various locations throughout the Wyoming Valley including Dallas, Wilkes Barre, Pittston and Duryea.
