Take a Mulligan - On Every Shot!

On August 24, 8:30am, Chenango River Theatre, will sponsor a benefit golf tournament with a format unique to the Southern Tier – a one-man scramble. This format, very popular in other areas of the country, lets the golfer be his/her own teammate. On every shot, the golfer hits twice and chooses the best result (including putts). No more worrying about finding enough players to field a team, or playing great only to have your teammates have a bad day. You are your own team.

Entry fee is $75 ($55 for member of Genegantslet Golf Club), which includes cart, lunch, a chance for great raffle prizes and a tax-deductible contribution. For the first 20 players who enter by phone and mention it, there will be a $10 discount off the entry fee! Entries close on Saturday, August 23.

Cash prizes totaling $1,500 will be awarded, with players participating in both handicap and gross divisions. The field is limited to 63 players with prizes in each division for the top 6 places, plus prizes for closest to the pin and longest putt.

The round will also feature a $10,000 cash prize for a hole in one on #12.
