THE NUTCRACKER
Saturday September 6 at 10:00 am OR by appointment.
At The School of Visual and Performing Arts

Traditional Christmas Ballet.
Needed are Dancers and Non-Dancing Actors of varying ages.

December 7, 14, and 21 at 2:00 pm at the Shawnee Playhouse.

BLITHE SPIRIT

At the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort (not at the Playhouse!)
BLITHE SPIRIT is a comedy in which Charles’ second marriage is being haunted by his first wife’s mischievous ghost. Noel Coward’s best-known farce.
Needed are 5 adult women and 2 adult men.
Performance Dates:
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays October 31 to November 9, 2008.

NIGHT MOTHER

‘NIGHT, MOTHER is a famous drama in which tensions rise as a mother finally realizes what her daughter is really up to. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for author Marsha Norman.
Needed are 2 adult women.

SEUSSICAL
Saturday September 6
All auditions will be held at 912 Main Street, Stroudsburg
Imaginative, high-energy musical based on the whimsical books of Dr Seuss.
Performances will be at the Sherman Theater on November 21, 22 & 23
CHILD AUDITIONS (AGES 8 THROUGH 12)
Saturday, September 6, 12 noon - 2 pm
Children will be taught a simple song and dance from the show. They should wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for movement. No flip-flops.
Parents must remain in lobby while children audition.
TEEN & ADULT AUDITIONS (Teens ages 13 through adult)
Saturday September 6, 5-8 pm
Sunday September 7, 1-3 pm
Teens & Adults: prepare 16 bars, two songs: a ballad and up-tempo piece. Bring music in the appropriate key. Accompanist will be provided.
Wear clothing and footwear suitable for dancing. No flip flops. Bring head shot or recent snapshot if available.

HIP DUDES FROM HELL
September 26 and 27
3:00 pm until 6:00 pm
at The Sherman Theatre, Main Street, Stroudsburg PA.
The Forwardian Arts Society will hold Open Auditions for their upcoming production of the 10 minute play entitled HIP DUDES FROM HELL.
The play will be performed during The Sherman Theatre’s Halloween Party on Friday October 31 which will include performances by numerous local bands and a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Actors are need for the roles of
The Narrator, age 20-50
The Mother, age 120-200
Moon Doggie, age 20-50
Mary Jane Toker, age 20-50
The Butler (Sean Lennon) age 30-60
Lord (Julian) Lennon, age 20-50
Lady Yoko Onis, age 70-100
Actors of any adult age will be considered. A stage manager is also needed for the production.
